Member “Fair Use” & Unlimited Access Policy
To ensure timely access and maintain high-quality care for all members, the following guidelines apply to unlimited virtual services:
Triage-First Approach
All acute or urgent concerns should begin with secure messaging . A provider will review
your message and determine whether a live video visit is clinically necessary. If so, it will
be scheduled promptly.
Appropriate Use of Visits
Virtual visits are intended for:
- Acute medical concerns
- Chronic condition management
- Preventive and wellness-related follow-ups
Professional Communication Standards
- Secure messaging is unlimited for members
- Responses are provided during normal business hours, except when urgent triage is required
Responsible Use Policy
Rumar Healthcare reserves the right to address patterns of excessive or inappropriate use (such as frequent non-urgent daily requests) that interfere with care delivery to the broader patient panel. If a therapeutic relationship cannot be maintained, membership may be discontinued
with 30 days’ notice .
Home Visit (House Call) Policy
Home visits are available as an optional service and are subject to the following conditions:
No Controlled Substances
Rumar Healthcare does not prescribe or manage narcotics, stimulants, or benzodiazepines during any visit type
Payment
Members are billed the $100 home visit fee at the time of scheduling or service
Availability
Home visits depend on provider availability and geographic service area
Membership Care Model (Telemedicine Only)
Rumar Healthcare memberships are telemedicine-based and do not include in-person clinical services.
Membership Exclusions
- No in-office visits
- No physical exams, vaccinations, suturing, or procedures
- No facility or hospital-based services
Third-Party Services
Members are responsible for all external costs, including:
- Laboratory testing
- Imaging services
- Specialist referrals
